The sweet aroma of sprouted grains and dried fruits is highlighted by the subtle smoky aroma, leaving a honey-like finish on the tongue. This whiskey has been matured for several years in bourbon casks, sherry casks, and Japanese Mizunara casks from the forests of Hokkaido and Tohoku. The whiskey has rich aromas of grains and dried fruits, and a finish of smoke and honey. This whiskey is a blend of 100% single malt whiskey aged 5 to 6 years, produced in small batches of less than 20 casks at a time. There is absolutely no dyeing, and the entire process uses the condensation filtration method. Bomenzaki single malt whiskey is best enjoyed neat or on the rocks.
